Well this is kind a an ancient story, but yes, my eldest baby girl turns 3 last Oct 23. Before, like a few months earlier, she told me "mommy, nanti happy bday kakak ok, mommy…ok mommy?" Probably because she has attended so many bday parties of friends and cousins so she must be wondering, when is hers. About approximately 2 weeks before her bday, she called herself ‘baby’ and insisted papa and myself to call her that. And then just a week before, she said "mommy, nanti mommy say ’surprise’ happy bday to you kakak ok?". Well i was not surprise where she got the "surprise" idea (Mickey mouse clubhouse-the minnie’s bday episode) but i wondered how did she knows that her bday is just around the corner?? Because both hubs and i never mentioned abt it. In fact, we both still haven’t had any idea on how to celebrate it. The best part is, just the day before her bday, I told hubs all abt her ideas so hubs asked me to plan something. So i told him, we shuld get a small bday cake that nite. I was getting ready while waiting for hubs to come back from work and Mia actually said to me "mommy, nak go buy mia present ya mommy…?" I was like "huh??". Somehow, i think Mia has a sixth sense. Either that or, like my sis said, she probably has an imaginary friend who told her abt all the plan.

The plan for her bday actually shuld be, to surprise her when she wakes up on her bday morning. Of course with the cake ready and the deco, which is recycled from her 1st bday (we’re pathetic parent, i know), ready. But that morning, while i was still putting things ready (digging the huge box in my store room for the deco, paper plates and cups and hats), Mia woke up so there goes the surprise. Luckily, we had a back up plan. I took her out to buy nasi lemak for breakfast, while my hubs prepare for everything else. When we came back, she actually surprised to see everything. She was excited and blew out the candle 4 times ok. Coincidently, we’re all wearing blue that morning and honestly hhmmm…. non of us took our bath yet that morning hahahahahaha… Well she’s an early riser and to take a bath that early is sooooo cold.

About Mia having a sixth sense, the other day, i was on the phone with my sis. Then my sis had to go coz her daughter wanted to play bubbles. I just said ok and goodbye. That nite hubs took us out. Out of the sudden Mia said to me "mommy we’re going to buy Mia bubbles, ya mommy?" I was like "What??". Then i told hub abt the conversaton i had wit my sis on phone. He said, "you probably said it (the word bubbles) out loud kot. But i didn’t think so. The next day i asked my sis whether or not i repeat the word ‘bubbles’ when she said it first. She said no. I told her the whole story abt Mia and again she said "I told you she has an imaginary friend!"…. am i supposed to be worried?

Now, updates on my other baby girl. Little Marsya, not so little anymore. I think she doesn’t grow bigger but more of taller. She can crawl but i think she prefers ‘melunjur’ (the thing that baby do when she wipes all the floors with their body) better. I think she’s more active than her sis. I’ve never had to tie-up Mia’s walker when she’s a baby but i’ve to do that now with Marsya. Otherwise, she wuld end up falling down or in the bath room. She’s much cheekier than her sis. Naughty but when you look at her you just don’t have the heart to be angry. She adores Mia so much. She’ll gigled evertime Mia teased her. Mia on the other hand, sometimes culd play along with her but most of the time she wuld just push her sis away. Pity Marsya. She’s on solid foods already. I started slowly when she turned six months and she’s still fully breastfed.

OK, whoever said that breastfeeding can make you loose pregger fat quickly, doesn’t work for me. It’s so frustrating! And whenever i heard or read people saying what breasfeeding can do to your weight, i just don’t want to believe it anymore. It probably works for other people but not me. I’m just the unlucky ones i supposed. Even during Ramadhan, i thot fasting and breasfeeding at the same time can make me slimmer a bit, but heck! Will write again sometime if i don’t have problem with this bband. Till then…
